Hello!

Dan and I have started this newsletter for a few reasons. Mainly because what we do as a community is incredible and we want as many people as possible to know about it. This weekend in particular was so special, we saw some real human to human connection taking place and it made us remember why we set this community up in the first place.

We also know that for a lot of members, you don’t have time to constantly check our platform for updates on new events - so we’ll be featuring any new events we’ve got planned so you guys can get involved. If you don’t want to receive this, please feel free to hit unsubscribe below. If you really like it - share it!

Founder Reflection

It’s been a big couple of weeks for the community. So many incredible events including book club, sauna and cold plunge, Curry Club, the financial planning Expert Session with Phil McCaffrey, we can’t name them all.

A HUGE thank you to our Connector team for making these happen - we would genuinely not exist as a community without these guys so make sure you buy them a beer next time you see them. In particular, big shout-outs to Tej, Miren, Eric, Stavros, Eamon and Dhiraj for creating big opportunities to connect.

We wanted to take some time to reflect on one event in particular. The yoga and men’s circle event with Ray on Saturday. This is the kind of thing (sharing with other men, urgh!) which would’ve scared the sh*t out of me ten years ago - it forces you to delve deep into your past and reflect and for a lot of the guys that came, it brought up some pretty deep emotions.

I know that every single person who attended got something from the experience. It’s not for everyone, and we know that some of you aren’t looking for that level of introspection, but for those that are we want to do more of this kind of stuff.

Let us know if you’re keen to get involved in the next one.

Owain enjoying a bag of crisps after yoga and circle

This week it’s all about Owain Southren, the legend. Owain was someone who was told about S2S by his partner late in 2025. It took a little while for him to pluck up the courage to come to his first walk (we see this a LOT - we totally understand why this can be so intimidating) and when he did, he immediately understood what the community was all about.

The journey we’ve seen Owain go on, from turning up to that first walk with a real sense of trepidation, to starting to show up for the other guys, to becoming a pillar of the group, becoming a Connector and setting up events like his dumpling night in Wimbledon, and finally having his first ever yoga and circle experience, is what this group is all about. We couldn’t be more privileged to have him as part of the community. Say hi to him next time you see him.

One last note

A quick note to say, Dan and I do a lot of speaking about the power of community and how you take lessons from community building to help you have better personal and professional relationships. We’re doing more and more work with corporates to help them understand this stuff. Our point of view is that better connection, to yourself and to other people, is one of the keys to leading a healthier, more productive life - we see this time and time again in the community.

If you work for any big organisations that might be interested in hearing our keynote on this, please do get in touch. It’s one of the ways we can drive revenue to keep the community going and honestly, it’s banging.

Keep showing up, keep supporting each other, and hope you all have brilliant weeks.
