One final note
Founder Reflection
When we started this community 18 months ago, we only had two walks and coffees a month, both in Hyde Park. We chose this spot to host our walks because it was central and the best we could offer to men living all over London.
Today, things are very different. Due to our growth and the dedication of our connectors, we now offer events all over London. For example, we have regional walks and coffees in North, East and South London and this week marked the launch of August’s coffee roulette scheme. This is where members are placed in small groups of up to 4 members to meet up for a coffee, walk or whatever takes their fancy. The groups are based on their location and the days and times that are suitable to all in the group - this makes the organisation a lot easier and reduces the barriers to connection we all face. Over 60 people have now signed up to the August edition of coffee roulette - today is your last day to sign up!
Tom and I are always learning as we go with this, but these regional developments represent a key lesson. Despite wanting to connect with new people; it can be scary, difficult, and sometimes quite inconvenient. It’s why we’re trying to make the barriers to connection as low as possible, because it means even more men can experience the belonging we’ve all created at S2S.

David
There’s a gentleman we call the S2S MVP. Statistically speaking, he’s attended more S2S events than any other member in the last three months.
He has infinite hats. His bowling skills have gone from very poor to poor under our tutelage. He always arrives on a bike.
His name is David Durant, and here’s what a connector had to say about him:
“I see David everywhere now, and I love it. He has truly grown into himself and is such a gentle and kind person. That’s what this community is all about: showing up, always being open-minded and really embracing what this community has to offer! He embodies kindness that comes naturally to him, and anyone who has had the pleasure of interacting with him always leaves with a smile on their face. Over the last few months, I really hope he has realised how much he has achieved and that any newer members can look at his positive attitude and hopefully David will inspire the next generation of men to join this community!”
One Final Note
We have launched something very exciting. The first ever S2S overseas trip, to none other than Lisbon - the city of pastel de natas.
You can expect a banging itinerary including guided tours, sunset yoga, sailing trips and delicious dinners at a very reasonable (maximum) price of £670.
